The Douglas County Sheriff is reminding residents to lock their cars following a rash of vehicle prowls and burglaries that took place overnight in the Fancher Heights neighborhood of East Wenatchee. Sheriff Harvey Gjesdal says there were nine reports of vehicle prowls and burglaries in the Canyon Hills, Fancher Field Road and Fancher Boulevard areas.
Gjesdal says the thieves did not force entry, but appeared to be looking for open and unlocked doors.
