(AP) - The Washington Transportation Department says 67,000 vehicles a day used the stretch of Interstate 5 through Mount Vernon that is now blocked by the collapse of the Skagit River bridge. Mount Vernon is about 60 miles north of Seattle and 40 miles south of the Canada Border. 01/10/13 Big Foot Sighting in Wenatchee ? (AUDIO)

A report of a Big Foot sighting in a Wenatchee orchard has generated alot of comments on the KPQ Facebook page. An unnamed caller phoned KPQ this morning in the 7 oclock hour to report the sighting in the area of Stella Street and Walnut Street but neither the Wenatchee Police Department or RiverCom Emergency Dispatch reported receiving any calls. Paul Graves is a Wenatchee Native who has been researching Big Foot for the past 25 years in the NorthWest. He responded to the scene of the reported sighting and said he found some large animal tracks. He says he's made plaster casts of the tracks and collected some hair samples. He says the tracks appear similar in size and shape to others purported to be from a Sasquatch. Graves is now searching for any residents of the area who might have spotted the animal that made the tracks. .
Graves can be reached at 665-8645.
