Last week's Community Resource Fair helped over 500 low income and homeless people access a variety of local social services in Wenatchee. Kay Sparks with the Women's Resource Center there's a lot of help out there for those who need it . .
The Community Resource Fair was held last Thursday in conjunction with the annual homeless count which is conducted by the Womens Resource Center.
Executive Director Phoebe Nelson explains . . .
Nelson says while it appears fewer people who live on the streets attended the event, they saw more "at-risk" residents. She says those are people who live paycheck to paycheck and are one crisis away from finding themselves without a home.
