A Wenatchee man originally sought on an arrest warrant is now in jail for alleged assault on a police officer.
Sgt. Cherie Smith says police located 44-year old Jorge (Hor-hay) Ibarra in the area of Okanogan and Spokane St around noon Sunday. . .
During the scuffle, Smith says he managed to get a hold of the officer's taser but was unable to unholster the device.
Ibarra is charged with 3rd degree assault on top of a felony probation violation.
No one was hurt.
