01/31/13 Shilo Schauer to Manage Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce (AUDIO)



The Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce has named Shilo Schauer as the organization's new full time executive director. Schauer is a native of the Wenatchee Valley who also ran as a candidate for Mayor. She's worked since 2003 as a legislative assistant for State Senator, Linda Evans-Parlette. Chamber board president, Josh Stendara says Schauer was selected from a field of 75 job applicants . .
Senator Parlette said in a prepared statement that Schauer is a "dynamic young woman" Parlette said, "I’m confident that she will bring the same level of professionalism and leadership to this position as she has working for me. Parlette announced that Schauer will be replaced by Senior Legislative Assistant Tina Bodine.
