02/08/13 Apple Blossom Pageant Saturday

As of earlier this afternoon, there were about 60 tickets still available for Saturday  night's Washington State Apple Blossom Festival Royalty Selection Pageant. Festival Administrator Darci Waterman talked about the show on a recent KPQ Morning Update. Waterman wouldn't go into great detail other than to say the emcees are Amber Glann and Jeremy Anders, and the theme involves social media.

The lower level tickets sold out quickly. Upper level tickets are $15 and are available at the Festival Office, 2 South Chelan in Wenatchee until they close at five this afternoon, and on-line at www. appleblossom.org Tickets, if they still have them will also be available at the door. The Pageant, at the Wenatchee High School Auditorium, begins at seven p.m. Saturday. The top ten finalists include five students from Eastmont High School, Emily Abbot, Cassidy Halle, Jenaesha Iwaasa, Scarlet Graham and Carli Jones. The five finalists from Wenatchee High include Lauren Williamson, Madi Still, Maria Medina, Laurel Jones and Maggie Chvilicek.
