FRESNO, Calif. – The Wenatchee Wild extended their winning streak to four games Friday with a 6-3 win over the Fresno Monsters at the Selland Arena in Fresno, California. After Fresno's Trevor Husch scored a goal four minutes into the first period the Wild bounced back with three first period goals. Six different Wild players lit the lamp during the game including: Joe Sullivan, Chris Kerry, Max McHugh, Josh Hartley, Brian Williams and Jono Davis. “We were able to finish,” Wenatchee Wild associate head coach Tom Rudrud said in reference to his team’s scoring chances. “We had a lot of quality chances tonight, and it’s nice to see a lot of guys get in the action.” Robert Nichols made 22 saves on 25 shots to earn his 27th win of the season. The Wild (32-7-4) will try to earn their fifth straight win and sweep the Monsters Saturday. Faceoff is slated for 7:35 p.m. Pre-game on 560 KPQ begins at about 7:20 p.m.
