ELLENSBURG, Wash. (AP) - An Issaquah man who stopped to admire the view fell off a cliff into Lake Kachess and died.
The Kittitas County sheriff's office says 51-year-old Glenn Williams was driving on a Forest Service road with his wife and daughter Saturday evening when they stopped at the lake about 10 miles east of Snoqualmie Pass.
Williams fell 40-to-50 feet into the water. He was picked up by a boat and taken to shore where he was declared dead.
