A 21 year old Malott woman was taken to an Omak hospital after her car went down an embankment near Okanogan Sunday morning. The State Patrol reports that Katrina Duncan was southbound on State Route 97 a little before eight a.m. She reportedly fell asleep at the wheel and when she woke up slammed on the brakes. That caused her 1992 Ford Taurus to spin. She hit the guardrail and slid 30 feet down an embankment. Duncan, who was belted up, was taken to Mid Valley Hospital. Her status was not immediately available
