Douglas County Sheriff Harvey Gjesdal is asking for your help in finding out who beat a man into unconsciousness earlier this month along the riverfront area known as "Bikini Beach". The Sheriff says the unidentified victim told deputies he was on the beach around 6:30pm August 11th. The man reported the incident this Wednesday. He said the next thing he remembers is waking up with injuries to his head and face. He said he was treated at the hospital for a broken jaw. The victim said he did not see his attackers. Sheriff Gjesdal is asking anyone who may have observed something unusual to call 884-0941.
