09/15/12 Air Quality Improving Some



The Chelan-Douglas Health District says although the air quality in the Wenatchee area is much better than Friday, the air quality is still listed as "Hazardous". The air quality reading Saturday morning was in the "Unhealthy" range in Leavenworth and "Unhealthy to Very Unhealthy" in the Chelan area. On the positive side, all areas are trending towards better air quality today with the forecast calling for light winds passing through today. Some tips, keep windows closed, limit time outdoors and avoid exertion that would increase your breathing rate. More information is available at the Health District's web site, www.cdhd.wa.gov
