09/19/12 Blewett Pass Closed



Department of Transporation officials have confirmed that Blewett Pass is closed between the Big Y and Lauderdale Junction. Access is restricted to local traffic only. Eileen Ervin of Chelan County Emergency Management says crews closed down the Hwy 97 due to a fire close to the road at Milepost 166. The fire is considered to be part of the Table Complex blaze.
