The American Civil War visits Plain this weekend. Graham Watson is helping promote the event. He says the living history demonstration allows people to talk to the re-enactors portraying soldiers and civilians about camp life and tour the authentic Union and Confederate camps, including camp hospitals. The reenactment, celebrating Plain's 100th birthday and the 150 anniversary of the Civil War, is held on Beaver Valley Road, across from the Old Mill Cafe. Battles are at 11am and 2pm each day. One time admission, includes all events on both days are eight dollars for adults, and six dollars for students and seniors.
