Chelan County Sheriff Brian Burnett reports the investigation into the homicide of a Cashmere man, who died from a gunshot wound a little over two weeks ago, continues. The body of 76 year old James McClendon was found in his home on September 14th. A few days later Chelan County Coroner Wayne Harris ruled the death a homicide. Undersheriff John Wisemore says in a news release that there are currently three detectives assigned to the investigation and multiple interviews have been completed. He adds detectives are still working on developing persons of interest. Anyone with information about the incident are encouraged to call the Chelan County Sheriff's office at 667-6875.
