The Chelan-Douglas Health District is hitting the road this month, asking people to roll up their sleeves. The first outreach flu shot clinics are set for Monday in Mansfield and Bridgeport. Washington's Secretary of Health, Mary Selecky says while everyone six months and older, should get a flu shot, its especially important for people who have medical conditions that put them in higher risk categories for complications from the flu, and for those who live with, or care for them. Health District officials will be at the Mansfield Pioneer Club from 10-30am to 11-30am Monday and at the Bridgeport Middle School from one to three p.m. Three outreach clinics are set for Tuesday at the Cashmere Senior Center from 11am to 11-30am, at the Dryden Community Center from noon to 12-30pm and at the Leavenworth Senior Center from one to 1-30 Tuesday afternoon. The cost is 25 dollars. Seniors are asked to bring their Medicare cards and any supplemental insurance cards with them.
