Plenty of activities in Central Washington to choose from this weekend. In Cashmere the Pioneer Village and Museum holds their annual Apple Days Saturday and Sunday. Museum board member Joan Baldwin says some of the highlights are demonstrations of pioneer life skills by the Oregon Trail Travelers, music and storytellers, including Hank Cramer.
Baldwin says kids can make, and take a home craft.
There will also be cowboy shootouts, an apple pie contest, demonstration such as weaving and salmon baking using stone tools. The event runs from nine a.m. to four p.m. each day. Tickets are five dollars for adults and three dollars for children. An added bonus, free breakfast for earl birds between eight a.m. and nine a.m.
