GWATA, the North Central Washington Technology Alliance, presents the NCW Innovation Showcase Thursday afternoon, in and around the Confluence Technology Center in Wenatchee. GWATAs Program Manager Amy Lewis says the Showcase will feature the region's top innovators in education, healthcare, agriculture, energy, transportation and emergent technology companies. Lewis they'll also have tours of Agro-Fresh and Van Doren Sales, and they'll also have a number of outside exhibits, including a chance to check out Link's new electric trolleys, other electric vehicles and a mechanical harvester. The Showcase is free of charge, and has giveaway drawings every 30 minutes. The program runs from one to five p.m.
