The last in a series of fall outreach flu shot clinics, put on by the Chelan-Douglas Health District, is set for Monday afternoon at the Wenatchee Senior Activity Center. Health District spokeswoman Mary Small says while everyone is encouraged to get flu shots, people with medical conditions that put them in higher risk groups for complications from the flu, the elderly and those who live with or care for them, are strongly encouraged to get one. Flu shots, for adults only, will be given from one to three p.m Monday at the Senior Center, 1312 Maple Street. The cost is 25 dollars. Seniors are asked to bring their Medicare cards and any supplemental insurance cards with you, if you have Medicare Part B coverage.
