10/23/12 South Wenatchee Shooting Suspect and Victim Identified



Police have identified the suspect being sought in a shooting that happened overnight Monday outside a home in a South Wenatchee neighborhood.

Sergeant Jim West says the alleged shooter from Wenatchee goes by several alias names such as Xavier Benites . . .Juan Villareal and Juan Diaz.

West says officers were called out around 12:30 AM Tuesday to a home on Monitor Street where the shooting occured.

Police say the suspect is a 46-year old hispanic male with a medium build.

Investigators say the suspect vehicle is a beige colored 2000 Chevrolet Suburban license plate 538XYM.

Police have also identified the shooting victim as 37 year old Cesareo Sauceto-Maldonado of Wenatchee.

Police say Maldonado's wounds do not appear to be life threatening.
