The investigation into the August 4th house fire that claimed the lives of two small children is getting some help. Cashmere Valley Bank has contributed $5-thousand dollars in reward money for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the deadly fire. In addition to the $5000.00 reward offered by the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tabaco, and Firearms (ATF), the total reward amount is now $10,000.00.
The August 4th house fire that claimed the lives of 4-year-old Mariano Alejandre-Garcia and 6-year-old Ricardo J. Alejandre-Garcia was ruled an Arson on August 6th following a joint investigation by the Wenatchee Fire Department, Wenatchee Police Department, and ATF.
Police Captain Doug Jones hopes the increased reward prompts someone to come forward with more information . .
