The Leavenworth Rotory club holds their annual Rotary Fest today at the Leavenworth Festhalle. Club member Sandy Owens Carmody says the program, "In the Mood" is a jouney back to the big band swing era, it features live music, a silent auction, delicious food from local restaurants a raffle to win a trip to Bavaria. The keynote speaker is Penny Legate, the former TV personality has been spending a lot of time in non profit ventures. She's just returned from a tip to Africa doing Polio inoculations. The program, at the Festhalle, begins at 5-30pm Saturday. The cost is 50 dollars per person and tickets are available at the door.
