East Wenatchee City Council members will be talking budget...waste and wages at tonight's City Council meeting.
City Finance Manager Nick Gerde says tax payers will have the opportunity to discuss concerns with city council members regarding the 2012 budget.
Gerde added that the council will discuss increases in employee compensation costs.
"Some city employee wages are expected to increase by three-percent in order to compensate for the three-percent increase for cost of living in the area," said Gerde.
Another item on the agenda is the reconsideration of a one-percent property tax increase.
The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the East Wenatchee City Hall.
