12/12/11 Christmas Wishes from Catholic Family and Child Services

Catholic Family and Child Services helped KPQ launch the Apple Valley Honda Christmas Wishes project today. In collaboration with Columbia Valley Steel Supply were asking for your help in granting five Christmas Wishes for some special people in need of help.

Catholic Family and Child Services has identified several clients including a group of developmentally disabled adults who would like to go to a sporting event such as the Seattle Mariners or Wenatchee Wild. Another client is a 70 year old woman who's wish is to be reunited with the son who was taken away from her at birth when she was 14 years old. The agency has also selected a Wenatchee area couple who's humble Christmas Wish is for some WalMart greeting cards. Another disabled adult would like to take a guided fishing trip.

We hope to fulfill the wish lists before Christmas so time is of the essence. Cash or in-kind donations are welcome. Call us at 509-665-6565 for more information and keep listening for status reports on the Apple Valley Honda Christmas Wish brought to you by Columbia Valley Steel Supply and KPQ News.
