A 28 year old Manson man died after being stabbed around midnight Friday night. Chelan County Sheriff Brian Burnett says several friends were drinking in a cabin at the 7 Star Orchard in Manson. The 17 year old suspect, another Manson man. became aggressive toward the other occupants and was told to leave. He went to his cabin and returned with a pocket knife. Burnett says the victim, identified as Amilcar Lopez Ramirez, tried to stop the suspect from attacking another occupant in the cabin, and was stabbed twice in the chest area. The suspect was booked into the Chelan County Juvenile Justice Center, charged with first degree murder, first degree assault and first degree burglary.
