About 15 hundred Chelan County PUD customers in the Lake Wenatchee area are without power due to trees falling in lines. While rerouting has power back to parts of Plain and Coles Corner areas from an earlier outage, there is a new outage from Coles Corner to Plain and Winton and Lake Wenatchee. The outage is affecting the Chiwawa Loop Road, River Road to Thousand Trails, South River Road, and Highway 209 north of the Wenatchee River area. Crews are hoping to have power restored by six p.m. That's made more difficult because of the danger of falling trees, particularly along part of Chiwawa Loop Road.
