A wild chase from police turned into a disastrous accident involving five vehicles along North Wenatchee Avenue around 6p.m. yesterday (Wednesday) evening.
The chase ended at the intersection of Wenatchee Avenue and Second Street after the driver of the evading car...a black BMW sedan... careened into another car at high speed leaving a trail of debris.
The victim of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries and was transported to Central Washington Hospital.
Police say the BMW is not registered to the 18-year old male driver who is now charged with felony alluding...vehicular assault...felony hit and run...wreckless driving and driving while license is suspended.
