12/29/12 DUI Patrols



Local law enforcement officers continue DUI emphasis patrols this weekend. Captain Doug Jones with the Wenatchee Police Department says the theme of this year's campaign is "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over".

 　

Douglas County Sheriff Harvey Gjesdal says the patrols have netted a number of arrests. The most recent late Friday night. A deputy on routine patrol in the area of Sunset Highway and Linwood clocked a car traveling 65 miles per hour in a 40 mile per hour zone. The driver, a 52 year old East Wenatchee man  was arrested for DUI.
