Several accidents Friday morning in North Central Washington. According to the State Patrol, A 57 year old Manson woman was taken to Central Washington Hospital after her car's windshield was hit by debris Friday morning. The State Patrol reports that Anna Nichols was Southbound on State Route 97-A, about five miles north of Wenatchee, when her car was hit. The nature of her injuries was not immediately available.
Three Waterville residents were taken to Central Washington Hospital following a one vehicle accident near Orondo. According to the Patrol, 18 year old Joshua Whaley was westbound on State Route 2 when his SUV left the icy roadway and rolled. Two passengers, 39 year old Jason Nalls and 50 year old David Clemons were taken to CWH with unspecified injuries. Whaley was cited for driving too fast for the conditions.
A 56 year old Oroville woman was cited for driving too fast for the conditions, following a one vehicle accident that sent two passengers to the hospital. The State Patrol reports that Cheryl Pence was southbound on State Route 97, about a mile south of Tonasket Friday morning, when her SUV left the road and rolled, coming to rest on its top. Two passengers in her SUV, 22 year old Madlyn Pence of Tonasket and 20 year old Casey Pence, from Riverside, were taken to Valley North Hospital. Their status was not immediately available.
Driving too fast for the conditions also cited as the cause of a one vehicle accident about ten miles south of Chelan that sent a 44 year old Wenatchee man to CWH. The Patrol reports that Christon J. Quinn was northboundon State Route 97 when he lost control of his van on the icy road. His vehicle left the road and rolled four times before coming to rest on its side.
