Eight people now suffer from pertussis the outbreak in Chelan and Douglas counties.
That's a count of five more cases in two weeks according to Chelan and Douglas County Health District Administrator Barry Kling.
Kling says the age amongst the ill are eight to 12-years old.
Kling says the younger the person the more prone they are to the disease.
