The 13th annual Fiestas Mexicanas continues in Wenatchee's Lincoln Park. Organizer Maria Garra says they expect several thousand people to attend the event, which features lots of music, dancing, kids activities and great food booths. The event runs from noon to 8-30pm Saturday. On a related note, Wenatchee High School's Mariachi program will also perform this weekend in Seattle. Program Coordinator Ramon Rivera says the group will take part in the Fiestas Patrias festival at the Seattle Center. they'll perform from about six to seven p.m. Saturday.
