Two people are in custody as suspects in a series of burglaries that reportedly occurred last week at several North Wenatchee Avenue businesses. Wenatchee Police Detective Edgar Reinfeld says authorities received tips after they issued a news release last Friday that included a photo of the suspected burglar which was captured in a surveillance video at one of the businesses . Reinfeld says the man was wanted in connection with burglaries at the Windmill Restaurant, Buddy's Lafleur, J and C Coin, and Shear Magic. The 20 year old male suspect was arrested along with a female who was charged with trafficking in stolen property and rendering criminal assistance.
