A man wanted in connection with a pair of pharmacy robberies in East Wenatchee this summer, was arrested Friday. East Wenatchee Detective Darin Darnell says the suspect was already in jail at the time of the arrest on another charge. Darnell says the suspect later admitted to the robberies and was charged with first degree robbery in connection with the Eastmont Pharmacy robbery that took place on July 29th. A weapon was displayed in that incident. The suspect was charged with second degree robbery in the Food Pavilion robbery that took place on September 14th. On a related note, Darnell says officers are investigating an incident at the Eastmont Pharmacy that took place around three pm Friday, where a man entered the pharmacy and asked for certain items, was refused and left the store. Darnell says information was still coming in. We'll have more information as it becomes available.
