A Quincy man is dead following a shooting in Quincy late Friday night. Grant County officials report that around 11-20pm Quincy police, Fire and Ambulance crews were summoned to the 100 block C Street NE for a shooting. An autopsy on the victim, identified as 40 year old Ramiro Munoz Jr., is scheduled for Sunday. Kyle Foreman with the Grant County Department of Emergency Management says detectives have since learned the shooting happened after two men got into a verbal argument. The shooter is believed to be a gang member. Foreman says Munoz, who may have had gang ties in the past, was not connected to a gang at the time of the shooting. As of last report the shooter is at large, and is believed to be in the company of two other persons who are considered suspects.
