There's no room for sprint boat races in East Wenatchee's 2012 budget.The approval to terminate the lease and license agreement for the races came after a five-two vote from city council last night . What was meant to be a side discussion turned into a decision as council members swayed back and forth on whether to provide further funding for Thunder Swamp...an event that saw over 40-thousand dollars of deficits in 2011. Lacy included that the city will have to give 90-days notice to organizations involved before official cancellation.
