Douglas County authorities have a murder investigation on their hands. Sheriff Harvey Gjesdal reports that positive identification has been made of a body discovered earlier in the week at an orchard in the Brewster area. . .The Sheriff says the body is that of an Okanogan woman, 59 year old Vicki Lee Renner. He added that an autopsy performed yesterday determined Renner died from blunt force injuries to her head and neck. Sheriff Gjesdal says a homicide investigation has been launched. Renners' body was discovered Saturday in a Brewster-area orchard.
