The attorney representing Christopher Wilson has filed a pretrial motion asking for information that he says could show that others could have been involved in the murder of MacKenzie Cowell.
John Henry Brown filed his motion at a pretrial hearing earlier this week in Chelan County Superior Court.
Brown seeks the identity of a Regional jail inmate who supposedly provided police with the names of two other inmates who admitted to being involved in Cowell's murder.
Brown also told Judge John Bridges that he also planned to dispute DNA evidence against his client.
Wilson is charged with first degree murder in the February 9th 2010 stabbing death of Cowell, his former beauty school classmate.
The murder trial is slate to start in January.
