11/01/11 Downtown Parking Limits Extended to three hours (more)

Starting today Visitors to Downtown Wenatchee will have a little extra time to shop and eat without the worry of getting a parking ticket. . .Police Captain, Doug Jones says parking limits have been extended to three hours. The changes come as a result of discussions with the Wenatchee Downtown Association. Executive Director Linda Haglund says the longer parking limits allow visitors more time to enjoy the shops and restaurants downtown. The change to three-hour parking limit extends along Wenatchee Avenue from Orondo to First Street. The revised parking limits also extend to the side streets in that area between Chelan and Columbia Streets.
