It's not everyday you come across someone noble enough to save a life or a person dedicated to a cause which is why The Apple Valley Chapter American Red Cross is asking you to nominate who you would consider a"home town hero."
"Home Town Heroes" are classified as people who have conducted chivalrous acts and are recognized by local communities according to A-V-C Red Cross Administrator Mariah Thornock.
Thornock says awards are limited to eight to ten people.
You can get a hold of the nomination forms on the website and info on the event call 663-3907.
Awards will be presented in March.
