A 59 year old Omak man died early Friday morning following a one vehicle accident several miles east of Omak. According to the State Patrol, Lyle D. Edwards was a passenger in pickup driven by 32 year old Shanie Marchand of OMak. She was eastbound on State Route 155 around one a.m. Her pickup left the road and rolled. Marchand was taken to Mid Valley Hospital in Omak, as were two other passengers in her vehicle, 39 year old Georgina Dangeli and 41 year old Daniel Marchand, both of Omak. Their status was not immediately available. The Patrol reports that driving under the influence was a factor and that charges are pending.
