Coordinated through FEMA and the FCC...KPQ will take part in the first ever Nationwide Emergency Alert System test tomorrow at 11a.m. pacific time.
Rob Harper of Washington State Emergency Management says "we need to know if the president can communicate to the American public during a national emergency."
According to FEMA states... during the test...audio messages will be the same as local the EAS but in some instances...video may differentiate itself as a national test.
Harper says the test will run for 30 seconds.
