11/09/11 Condotta WVC Town Hall

12th State Representative Carry Condotta kicked off his first of five town halls this week at Wenatchee Valley College's Van Tassell Center last night (Wednesday).

Condotta educated those in attendance about pressing political issues in the State of Washington.

Issues addressed included the state's fiscal situation...Olympia's consideration of a loan package for Wenatchee's 42-million dollar arena debt...and Washington's economic future.

Regarding the state's 2011-2013 budget...Condotta says the capital is spending too much on health care services and too little on higher education.

Condotta predicted that the state will fund Town Toyota Center's debt and that Washington residents won't see significant economic improvements until 2014.

The next town hall is scheduled for Thursday November 10th at 6p.m. at the Cascade High School Commons in Leavenworth.
