Link Transit won't be operating Friday because of the Veteran's Day holiday. Link spokesman Eric West says as a cost savings measure, the transit service is not operating on three holidays a year, Veteran's day, President's Day and Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. It's estimated not running on those three days saves the transit service about 12 thousand dollars a year.
