Chelan County PUD workers had their hands full Sunday responding to wind caused power outages. PUD spokeswoman Christy Shearer says one outage affected a number of businesses in Wenatchee, from about Orondo avenue to Third street, and between Columbia and Chelan Streets. Other outages were reported along Stevens Pass, and at Lake Chelan.
Residents in the Wenatchee Heights area had an hour long controlled outage in order for crews could make repairs to arcing lines.
