Tuesday's Link Transit Board Meeting revealed that overall ridership has dropped approximately 12-percent since the since the company cut its services by 12-percent October 3rd.
There was also a 35-percent drop in passengers on Saturdays.
Link Transit General Manager Richard DeRock remains optimistic saying those cuts have improved other services and expects to get back half of the previous amount of passengers over the next year or two.
After an extensive budget presentation at last months transit board meeting DeRock indicated that Link Transit will remain more than sustainable without any cuts over the next few years.
