The season's first significant snowfall wreaked havoc on area roadways Wednesday as motorists adjust to winter driving conditions in the Wenatchee Valley. The Washington State Patrol responded to numerous collisions Wednesday. Most of the accidents involved motorists who were driving too fast for the icy conditions. Because of icy roads, the Moses Lake School District's classes and buses are running two hours late Thursday. No AM Kindergarten, ESL and Preschool. Also no breakfast.
