A 4.6 earthquake has shaken north central Washington.
The Pacific Northwest Seismic Network reports it occurred at 5:09 a.m. Friday and was centered seven miles northwest of Omak, and 8 miles northwest of Okanogan.
Callers reported to KPQ News that it was felt in Leavenworth, where it was described as a rolling motion, and in Twisp where it was strong enough to shake items off a shelf.
No reports of structural damage.
