28-thousand dollars worth of merchandise is missing from a East Wenatchee home as of Sunday morning.
Authorities say the residence was occupied by three family members during the burglary but they weren't aware of what was happening at that time.
Douglas County Sheriff Harvey Gjesdal says two laptops computers...a television and a purse are among the items stolen.
Located at the 2000 block on 3rd street...Gjesdal says one resident heard something around 2 a.m. but thought it was sound coming from a family member's television.
Gjesdal says the home was entered through an unlocked sliding glass door.
The investigation continues.
