According to Mary Small of the Chelan/Douglas Health District the flu season is currently underway in the Wenatchee Valley but will it be much of a season with only four illnesses reported so far in the state this year?
Small says there's been fewer illnesses this year compared to years past because of an increase in vaccination over the past two years.
Small says the season starts the last week of November and ends in March.
According to the health district... other methods for preventing symptoms include washing hands...dressing for the weather and get plenty of Vitamin C.
