12/01/11 Drowning Investigation

The investigation into the drowning death of a Wenatchee High School student will be conducted by an attorney with an Enumclaw-based law firm. School District Superintendant Brian Flones says Chris Burton with the Reynolds Burton law firm was hired because of his prior experience as an investigator for school districts. The probe was to start on Wednesday according to Flones. He would not estimate on how much time the investigation would last. 14 year old Antonio Reyes drowned while in a morning swimming class on November 10th at the High School's pool. His body was found submerged at the bottom of the pool by a group of students in the next class.  The pool has been closed to all P-E classes but remains open for swim teams.
