Upwards of 15 hundred tree fruit growers and industry officials are gathering in Wenatchee next week for the Washington State Horticultural Association's annual meeting. The Hort's Executive Director Bruce Grim says the theme of the three-day conference, which runs Monday through Wednesday, is "Finding the tipping point: What will be the drivers that change our industry". Grim says 2011 marks the Association's 107th annual meeting, the largest gathering of orchardists, shippers, suppliers and vendors in the nation.
